Through the power of photography, With Love, New York, gathers visual stories about community and connection through a one-week gallery show. Everything from portraits to street photography to artistic experiments will be on exhibit and available for sale.
Xiomaro’s Rockefeller Center will be on public view for the first time. The photograph provokes thought about identity, alienation, societal expectations, and perceptions of the other and oneself in a competitive culture. These themes are also expressed in Xiomaro’s abstract street photography series, Identity, which is represented by Haze Gallery in Berlin, Germany. The 11×14” Rockefeller Center, printed by the artist, is drawn from his street photography collection, many of which will be published by Fonthill Media for his book Street Photography of New York City.
The exhibition opening will take place at the gallery on Wednesday, March 12, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
