Meet Xiomaro: The Artist Capturing America’s Natural Beauty and Urban Soul Tuesday, August 20th, 2024, 8:00 pm (EST) exclusively on www.goproradio.com.
From the awe-inspiring landscapes of National Parks to the vibrant pulse of city streets, Xiomaro’s lens captures the essence of history, culture, and everyday life. His work, commissioned by the National Park Service, has graced prestigious venues like Harvard University and Fraunces Tavern Museum, while his candid street photography has been showcased in galleries across the globe—from the U.S. to England, Italy, China, and beyond.
But Xiomaro is more than just a photographer; he’s a storyteller. His images are a visual archive for future generations, preserving the world as it is today. His published works, including the book Weir Farm National Historic Site with a foreword by Senator Joseph Lieberman, have solidified his place as an influential voice in both the art and history communities.
Born in Brooklyn and shaped by a diverse heritage, Xiomaro’s journey from musician to corporate litigator, and now to a celebrated artist, is as dynamic as his work. After overcoming cancer, he embraced photography as a way to find peace and purpose, adopting the name Xiomaro—meaning “ready for battle”—as a nod to his roots and resilience.
Discover the world through Xiomaro’s eyes and join us in celebrating an artist whose work continues to inspire and captivate audiences around the world.
