From the Gallery
Old Walls Gallery’s exhibition R3SI$T! showcases the resiliency, creativity, and vision of the American people in the face of oppression and corporate power. The exhibition includes the protest art of over 40 artists and varies in media including drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, new media, video, performance, and song. The works hold true to our values of inclusivity, strength in the face of repression, and a commitment to truth and justice in the face of these catastrophic political times.
Old Walls is an independent artist-centric gallery in the downtown Albuquerque arts district. The gallery is committed to showing exhibitions that challenge the mainstream market-based art world. Emerging experimental work, art that is just fun for its own sake, beauty, wonder, and even unedited radically critical work have a home here.
