The New York Times: "An unorthodox look . . . photographs, commissioned as artworks . . . focus on striking details."
An image from the Times Square series by art photographer Xiomaro will be among the images on display at the Blank Wall Gallery in Athens, Greece. The 21 x 21 inch print will be on view from March 12 to 27, 2024 at the gallery’s Moments of Color international group exhibition.
According to the gallery, “We see and think in color. Colors can be found everywhere. They play a dominant role in our lives and our psychology. They have the power to create moods, evoke emotions, make our days brighter or duller and show the world in a different way.”
Although the photograph has been displayed as a teaching example in Xiomaro’s workshops, the Moments of Color show will be the first time the print has been publicly exhibited.
