Xiomaro, an artist whose photography is widely exhibited in the U.S. and abroad, has signed a third contract with Sutton Publishing in England. Under the worldwide agreement, the artist will author Street Photography of New York City: More Street Haunting—Drama, Dreams, and Delirium for release in 2027. The book will be released through the publisher’s America Through Time® imprint as part of its Photographers’ America series.
The book will feature unusually compelling images of the Big Apple captured entirely in-camera without artificial intelligence (AI) or digital manipulation. Instead of literal detail, Xiomaro’s photographs evoke shifting moods and heightened perceptions, where every encounter leaves a lingering trace, as if the city itself were haunting the eye that beholds it. Manhattan becomes a theater of light, shadow, motion, and reflections revealing an otherworldly atmosphere easily overlooked in the rush of daily life.
These poetic visions are a follow up to Xiomaro’s prior title, Street Photography of New York City: Street Haunting in the Big Apple, and offer a multifaceted portrait of New York: mysterious, fluid, and disorienting, yet always alive with possibility. After overcoming cancer, Xiomáro left a legal career representing pop stars, and his photography has since been exhibited globally and celebrated by mainstream media.
