“An unorthodox look at a president’s home… photographs, commissioned as artworks… focus on striking details.” The New York Times
Described in a PBS episode as “a historian through the lens,” Xiomaro’s fine art photography has been featured in major television networks such as ABC, CBS, News 12, and Fox.
Now SAR attendees will have an opportunity to meet the artist in person and get his direct perspective on the iconic images of Morristown National Historical Park, Sagamore Hill National Historic Site, and other seminal American landmarks.
Whether you are a lineal descendant, history buff, national park enthusiast, architect, veteran, educator, interior designer, public servant, artist, photographer – or just have a thirst for knowledge – attending this lively, entertaining, and deeper look at the photographs will be worth the visit.
Attendees will be encouraged to present ideas on how the photographs can help unite the nation as it approaches its 2026 semiquincentennial and will also have an opportunity to win a copy of Charting an American Republic – The Origins and Writing of the Federalist Papers by Jude M. Pfister, Chief of Cultural Resources at Morristown National Historical Park.
