From the Gallery
This year-long outdoor exhibition celebrates visions of the sea with the works of over 150 photographers from around the world. The exhibition is open to multiple creative interpretations of the great body of salt water covering much of the earth – environmental, actual, or emotional. The works will be on view 24/7 on the beachfront, which attracts over 200,000 visitors a month.
About Xiomaro’s Work
Two photographs by Xiomaro are on view: Fire Island and Lovells Island, the latter being publicly exhibited for the first time. The images were commissioned by the U.S. National Park Service. “Each photograph is drawn from collections I created to document and artistically interpret the natural environment,” explains the artist.
Xiomaro’s seascapes are minimalist compositions where reality intersects with abstraction. “The photographs are an ode to the sea and the islands it embraces. They are intended to promote public awareness, appreciation, and conservation of these important natural resources.”
All photographs are available for exhibition and purchase. Contact Xiomaro
