Weir Farm - Restored

In 2011, the National Park Service commissioned me to artistically photograph the unrestored interiors of the key
historical structures at Weir Farm National Historic Site.  Julian Alden Weir is the father of American Impressionist painting.
His homestead is Connecticut's first national park unit and the only one in the nation dedicated to American painting.
After the restoration was completed in 2014, the NPS had me return to photograph the stunning changes.

Below are images from inside Weir's house - specfically, the library, the Ryder Room and views into the
living room.  It is interesting to compare these rooms with their prior vacant condition shown here.  Other
pages in this gallery will also present images of the studio.  Some of these photographs are still being
fine-tuned and all of them look best when seen as large exhibit prints.
