Scotland
One of my street photographs will be on view at a group exhibit in Glasgow. Preparing an itinerary, emailing contacts, and other preparations are underway to make the most of the time I will spend there.
It will be an exploratory trip. I'd like to see what relationships I can develop for photographing and exhibiting photographs of Scotland's National Parks and for conducting workshops and photo walks.
If I can get to Paisley, there's an Arts Centre I'd like to photograph. The historic structure was originally a church with connections to Robert Weir and John Witherspoon. Both emigrated to America and made their mark. Weir's family became a painting dynasty and Witherspoon became a signer of the Declaration of Independence.
So a photograph of the church would be a great addition to my collections centered on Connecticut's Weir Farm National Historical Park and the American Revolution.
And, of course, I hope that wandering around Glasgow and Paisley will present opportunities for creating new images to add to my collections of street photography.
