Linda Ruder is my Studio Manager. Her work with me has been covered by The News-Times and The Wilton Bulletin.
Among her initiatives will be overseeing public relations and promotion of my photo/history book Weir Farm National Historic Site (Arcadia Publishing), which celebrates Connecticut’s first national park and its commemoration on the reverse of the 2020 US quarter.
Linda maintains a dual presence at my New York studio and in the field covering Connecticut and the Northeast Region.
She brings her expertise in advertising and sales management garnered from over 25 years of experience in the publishing industry. She was Associate Publisher/Advertising Director for Westchester Magazine, where she launched two new publications – Westchester Home and Westchester Weddings, which generated an additional $1 million in annual revenue.
A graduate of Cornell University, Linda holds a Bachelor of Science with Distinction as a Communications major.
Linda's position as Studio Manager arose from having attended several of my photography workshops at Weir Farm National Historic Site, where I am the park’s Visiting Artist.
“I’ve always had an interest in photography, which I studied at Cornell as part of my degree in Communications,” explains Linda.
After meeting me through the workshops, it soon became apparent that the position of Studio Manager was a natural next step for Linda as it combines photography and media management – a fit that we were both seeking.
