A talk and Q&A on William Floyd's House of Revolution is scheduled for Sunday, October 19, 2014, 2:00 pm to 3:30 pm, at the Museum's Gillespie Room (located in the Carriage Museum Building).

Five photographs from William Floyd's House of Revolution and one photograph from Theodore Roosevelt - "How I Love Sagamore Hill" will be included in Long Island at War.  This is the first major museum exhibit to consider the region's significant and continuing connections to each American war.

The photographs are the only contemporary art pieces to be included in an exhibit that features over 200 artifacts,¬†paintings and historical photographs¬†drawn from many prominent museum and private collections.  The photographs were selected by the museum to unify the exhibit's six sections on each of America's military engagements.
