The best camera is the one you have with you, and these days that's your smartphone. The secret to better photographs is less about the camera, and more about applying the principles of seeing used by artists for centuries as Xiomaro explains in this interview on WPKN Radio 89.5 FM.
Photographs and paintings will be used to introduce key artistic principles and show simple ways to capture outstanding photos with minimal technical know-how.
Then we will walk through the famous Schuyler-Hamilton House and grounds to practice new-found skills. Afterwards, a winner will be selected for a free prize and attendees can share their photos on Xiomaro's Facebook Group Page.
And, best of all, the Morristown DAR chapter will create a photo book documenting how the house looks on its 100th anniversary of its ownership as a permanent part of the historical record.
